While I had slow time today at work, I thought i'd play around with flash and what it can do... I usually practice painting in photoshop, but this time I wanted to see if I could do it in flash. So here is what I came up with. Hope you all like it. 
Someone special asked me... "do you draw to advance yourself or do you draw for fun?"- my answer to that was or is... I draw to advance myself and also to draw for fun... but more importantly its not the 'look' I go for in the drawing, its the feeling. So I attempted convey that in these drawings. Hope you all like it. :) 
After listening to a older podcast of Bobby Chiu and Stephen Silver, I decided to draw this. I also think its cool how artist show their 'process', so I decided to show you mine. hope you all like it.
Hey All-
I was having a discussion with a friend yesterday about "Life behind the drawing", that a drawing can look pretty and well constructed... but if it doesn't have life behind the drawing, then all it is, is a pretty drawing. So i've put together a couple random scribbles of Life in a drawing without the 'Pretty' in it. Hope all of you like it.
I'm still trying to get rid of the "Black Lines". But can't seem to without destroying the drawing. I guess its just that comfort of that outline being there that makes it feel like a drawing... well I've become good buddies w/ a painter friend, so slowly but surely these "Black Lines" will go away.
I wanted to draw something that I normally don't draw or really concentrate on... So hopefully there won't be as much "Human" drawings on here, and more of a variety. I'm also trying to include "Life" into my drawings... :) Any crits would be appreciated. 
At this point, I've been trying to atleast post a new drawing or 2 every week. Any Crits would be appreciated. Thanks! and hope you all like it.

Its now midnight, and i'm now 34. I wanted to see how far I am as an artist with everything that i've learned and picked up the past 34 years of experience. Not just with art, but also with life. So its been quite a ride, but lets see where 34 and on takes me. 
Just trying to learn how to paint (digitally), before spending alot oof money on wasted paint.
I did these pieces for a friend since he's now doing so well in school. I've seen him go thru a bunch of changes so I drew out these for him as a 'Congratulatory Gift'.
I was just looking through old sketchbooks trying to find a certain drawing I did. I came across this one and thought to myself, what made me do this...? hrmmm.... anyhow I found it interesting that drawings I've done back in 2006- seems to be more about how it 'Looks' than how it 'Feels'.
Couldn't really scan it cuz of the spiral. But got a good shot of my 'Office Max' pen. Hope you all like it.
Just a rough sketch I did earlier in the day... This is probably not the final design for a film i've been trying to work on the past year... but we'll see what I come up with.

I couldn't help it but I just had to post this... it a little side project that someone asked me to do... so I decided to call it the "Wasabi Project".
